We will INSPIRE a community of diverse learners through collaboration and accountability so our children SUCCEED in a global society. Tavelli's motto is ”Do what's right, do your best, and treat others the way you want to be treated.” We work constantly to help our Pre-K-5th grade students incorporate these values into their lives. Wellness is also a priority because research supports the fact that fitness and nutrition improve academic achievement. Our active wellness committee partners with Healthy Kids Club-UCHealth , Lions Club , and Project Smile to coordinate many fitness, health, and nutrition activities both during and after the school day. Special thanks to the Tavelli and Fort Collins community for supporting mill levy and bond items to make our school the best it can be! In 2012, the Tavelli staff chose to add STEAM to our brand to make learning relevant for our students in the 21st century. Major Improvement Strategy: Implement a standards-based teaching and learning framework to ensure all students receive effective universal level instruction in all content areas, with emphasis on Tier 2 and Tier 3 instruction.
